Outdoor Activity Conditions In Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales

Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling & Canyoning Outdoor Activities

We've had a fair bit of rain over the last few days and this has caused the river levels on both the Mellte and Sychryd in the Brecon Beacons to rise from the recent levels we've been seeing recently. Although this does mean you'll need to be more aware of the water flow force and waterfalls we will still be running both our Gorge Walking and Canyoning activities.

With the levels we're expecting to see, particularly on Saturday you may need to adjust any usual routes taken and safety equipment is, as always, essential. Buoyancy Aids, Helmets, Wetsuits and good strong footwear will be required and you shouldn't be anywhere near the water unless you have all of the required equipment and are with an experienced guide.

The river levels are expected to drop over the weekend as we see a little less rain on Saturday, but the weather can change quickly so you need to make sure you are aware of the recent rainfall in the local area around the time of any activities that are being run.

Coasteering Activities In Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales

The conditions for Coasteering along the South Wales coast are not looking good throughout the weekend. We've got some pretty bit big swell throughout the weekend meaning you don't want to be caught on the cliffs. The swell is going to be around 6ft - 8ft and the wind will be blowing through around the 15 - 20 knot mark.

Our advise is to come join us in the Brecon Beacons for a spot of Gorge Walking or Canyoning activities if you're still looking for an action packed weekend on the water.

Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Days and Paddle Boarding

Well, we've got some big swell along the coast this weekend, but it comes with some strong winds too so if you want to get out and catch some waves then you need to be looking towards the more sheltered bays along the South Wales coast, including Rest Bay in Porthcawl or Caswell Bay in Swansea.

The less experienced surfers will probably want to stay out of the water this weekend

Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Stag & Outdoor Activities

Summer holidays have come to an end across the UK this week so but we've still got the usual mix of Stag Dos and Hen Parties joining us from all over South Wales, including Swansea, Porthcawl and Swansea.

They'll be taking part in a mix of activities, from Gorge Walking on the lower rivers, the more demanding Canyoning activities we run on the upper rivers in the Brecon Beacons and a couple of Beach days too. They'll all be heading back into Cardiff or Swansea to enjoy some of the more traditional Stag and Hen Party activities. Those of the groups joining us on Sunday will be using to to freshen themselves up a little after the infamous Welsh nightlife.
