Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 28th January 2021 - Rivers are flowing well across the South Wales region with the Mellte and the Sychryd rivers the main ones in flow for the gorge walking , gorge scrambling and canyoning. At the moment river levels are fine for Gorge walking and gorge scrambling but high for canyoning. Over the next few days the river levels will get increasingly higher as the rain falls continuously. This will mean that all activities in the gorge region will be unsuitable. Need to watch weather and rainfall forecasts to assess the river conditions as well as river level reports. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 28th January 2021- The next few days will see big winds, big swells and rough sea conditions. Sea conditions will be volatile at best and stormy. Coasteering will be out of the question this week in the South Wales area especially close to Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

Open Water Sea Swimming Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales 28th January 2021 -Rough sea conditions this week with high winds and big swells. Need to assess the conditions in the sheltered bays, these will be difficult to find as strong winds and rough seas in all directions. The government lock down policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

RAINFALL - Constant rainfall over the next few days and even times of sleet and snow. The rainfall will be quite consistent and heavier on certain days but generally regular and often through the days.

SEA STATE and SWELL - Very stormy seas the next few days with high winds and big swells. Sheltered days will be Saturday . Sunday and Monday with the winds changing Easterly across the region. Generally rough seas and stormy conditions.
