Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 24th May 2021 - Rain at the beginning of the week and dry through out the next few days. Rivers are running medium with the earlier rain and the land still holding water. All gorge activities including Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning are acceptable in the present conditions. The waterfalls and rapids will be in flow but not excessively with the limited rain over the past few days. Rivers are still cold so exposure suits should be full length and preferable blind stitched and glue structure. The river banks are quite soden with the rainfall and the water should soak up into the banks and then dry out through the week. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 24th May 2021 - Varied conditions this week with high winds and swells at periods and other periods with lower swells and lighter winds. The better days for coasteering will be Saturday and Sunday when the swell and the winds are at their lightest and smallest. There also may be a possibility on Thursday with again lighter offshore winds and smaller swells. Swansea regions would be the better areas and possibly Ogmore by Sea on the better days.
