WEATHER - Mixed bay this week with light Easterly winds on Thursday and Friday and then changing to Southerly and Westerly gale force winds, Temperatures will be constant around 9 degrees but the winds will affect the temperatures and conditions. Monday will be the worst conditions with up to 55 mph Southerly winds. GORGE WALKING, GORGE SCRAMBLING, CANYONING CONDITIONS REPORT 23.01.2020 - Conditions are looking perfect for the next few days, the river levels on the Sychryd and the Mellte rivers are .33 at the moment and will stay constant up to Sunday when rain is expected. The waterfalls are flowing and the river levels are perfect flow the consistent flow and height for gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning for the next few day. The river levels will be affected with the rain in on Sunday but levels are not expected to rise significantly with low levels of rainfall.

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT 23rd JANUARY 2020 - Thursday and Friday are looking possible for coasteering this week with swells low and light Easterly off shore winds. The best day would be Friday with very low swells and lighter offshore winds. Saturday onwards will see bigger swells and and stronger onshore winds. Sunday onwards will have strong Westerly and Southerly winds and swells up to 18 feet so no possibility of Coasteering in the local region.

WIND -  Winds are very important this week, with light Easterly winds on Thursday and Friday and then changing to Southerly and Westerly for the rest of the week. Saturday will see 20mph Southerly winds, Sunday 30mph and then up to 55mph on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday will have 40 and 30 mph Westerly winds.
SEA STATE and SWELL -  Calm seas on Thursday and Friday with light Easterly winds and low sea swells. There will be a total change from Sunday onwards with winds up to 55 mph Southerly winds. Very rough and stormy seas on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, high caution required if around the sea on these days.

SUMMARY CONDITIONS REPORT FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES 23rd JANUARY 2020 - Gorge walking. Gorge scrambling and canyoning are looking perfect over the next few days will flowing rivers with the perfect levels at .33 meters and the land is saturated giving constant flow. Coasteering is also looking good on Thursday and Friday but not for the next few days after. River levels may change from Sunday onwards with rain predicted, updates will be issued as conditions change.
