Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 22nd November 2021 - South Wales rivers are flowing well in all areas close to Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons, Porthcawl. The level on the Mellte River is currently 0.267 meters which is the average flow for the river and good for all canyoning, gorge scrambling and gorge walking events. There as always will be debris in the rivers including boulders, rocks, tress, branches, mud, land slides etc with constant changing conditions. There is rain predicted in the week and over the weekend but river levels should hold unless the rainfall increases significantly. The wind and swell is looking good for sea conditions for coasteering for all sites in South Wales, along to West Wales. Site with more volatile conditions around Cardiff and Swansea areas are also looking good at the moment. Everything is predicted to change from Friday on wards with strong winds, big swells, stormy seas predicted from Friday and through the weekend creating unsuitable conditions.
