Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 18th October 2021 -Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning events are all looking acceptable for the next day however there is heavy rain due for the next few days and the river levels will be rising possibly higher than would be safe or acceptable for the events. Monday - Wednesday will see heavy rain and then drying on Thursday and Friday and lighter rain on the weekend. The river levels will have to be monitored everyday in order to asses the viability of the gorge events in the rivers close to Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons. The conditions would be unsafe throughout the week, the only possibility may be Saturday when the swell drops but there may be strong onshore winds, generally the conditionals will be unsuitable for coasteering accross South Wales.
