Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 07th June 2021 - The water levels on the Mellte and the Sychrd rivers are low at the moment, there has been a long period of dry weather and sunny days which has baked the land and the surrounding gorge area. The rivers are low and the activities are suitable for gorge walking , gorge scrambling and Canyoning. Precaution must be taken for debris in the river with the river banks being dry and possibly loose rocks and tree roots which could end up in the river. With the lifting of the lockdown regulations the areas of the gorges are busier, caution must be taken in the area for all users in order to ensure everyones safety especially the EMS. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 07th June 2021 - Coasteering conditions are very much the same as last week, there are better days than others, today will possibly be the better day with less wind and swell and calmer conditions therefore better better conditions . Other days have got good conditions with regards to tides and winds however the swell may be too big on certain days from Tuesday on wards. Will need to keep an eye on the swell conditions constantly to check the suitability of the coasteering activity.
