WEATHER - Varied weather this week with high winds, wet and dry weather and low temperatures. Winds will be North Westerly Direction mainly this week. Moderate rain on Friday and Monday . Some sunny spells as well so a week of mixed weather and Autumnal temperatures and winds. GORGE WALKING, CANYONING, GORGE SCRAMBLING CARDIFF AND SWANSEA PREDICTED REPORT - Conditions this week are looking good for all events on the gorge including Canyoning, Gorge Walking, gorge scrambling and dry scrambling. The rivers are flowing at perfect levels and there is moderate rainfall through the week keeping the rivers in flow but not high. At present the river levels are .3 meters and rising to possible .4 meter levels. Monday may pick rivers up higher but still to an acceptable level for all gorge related activities. The weekend is looking perfect for all events. As always the rivers are cold at around 6 - 8 degrees so full protection should be worn including Wetsuits, Buoyancy Aids, Helmets, Trainers, walking boots, wellingtons, under layers and thermals.

WIND -  Mainly North Westerly Winds with varied speeds Thursday will be up to 24mph and Friday 30mph, the weekend will then drop and the lowest winds on the weekend. Winds will pick up on Tuesday and Wednesday up to 30 mph. Blustery through the week and quieter on the weekend.
SEA STATE and SWELL -  Strong Westerly winds will make a choppier rougher sea state especially Thursday, Friday and Wednesday. The calmest days will be on saturday and Sunday on the weekend.

COASTEERING CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, CARMARTHEN PREDICTED WEEKLY REPORT - The only day may be Sunday with light winds and low swells. The rest of the week will have high winds and big swells therefore the coasteering will not have the best conditions, especially close to Cardiff and Swansea. Areas further towards stackpole quay may fair better on the days with lower swells and winds. Keep checking conditions reports for tide as the better times will be on the high tides and on the incoming waters.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, BRECON BEACONS, SOUTH WALES REPORT SUMMARY - Coasteering will be a rough ride this week with only Sunday looking the real possibility. The rest of the week will have high winds and big swells and little chance of the activity. Gorge walking, gorge scrambling and Canyoning are perfect for the next few days with good river levels and good conditions. We have Joanna and friend on the gorge with us on Saturday and also Nathan on a Stag weekend in Cardiff and joining us for Canyoning on Saturday afternoon with 16 of the lads. Surf is looking good on protected beaches in the area including Coney Beach in Porthcawl and Caswell Bay in Swansea. Water Temperatures are also high.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SOUTH WALES CONDITIONS REPORT UPDATE - The rain is forecast for today picking the river levels up but still to a reasonable level for gorge walking, gorge scrambling but with possible high levels for Canyoning. Surf is looking reasonable for sheltered areas and there is definitely no coasteering in the local areas to Cardiff and Swansea.
