Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 04th May 2021 - The rivers are very low at the moment and the areas in the gorge have changed over the past few weeks. Caution should be taken when entering the water with regards to debris, depth levels, contamination to make sure the water is safe to enter. All gorge walking and gorge scrambling events are acceptable with the caution of the lower water levels. Canyoning is also acceptable with the lower river levels but again caution must be taken. The rivers are still very cold with temperatures down to the low single figures. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 04th May 2021- Coasteering conditions have definitely changed this week with bigger swells and stronger winds through out the South Wales region. Stormier sea conditions will effect most areas especially sites closer to Cardiff and Swansea. The only day feasible may be Thursday when the swell is lower and the winds offshore in these areas. The better sites as always will be in West wales in the pembrokeshire region where the areas and coasteering sites are more protected.
