Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 02nd August 2021 - The Mellte and Sychryd rivers in the Brecon Beacons waterfalls region are still low. There has been rainfall over the past days however the water is now starting to either run off the land or starting to soak into the land depending on the duration and extent of the rainfall. The land will start to soak over time with the rainfall due into the end of the week. The rivers will be running well for the rest of the week and all events including Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning will be very good for the next few days in areas close to Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons, South Wales and West Wales. Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 02nd August 2021 -Coasteering conditions are good for the next few days in all sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales and West Wales. The swells are low and the winds are moderate across the regions allowing for good coasteering conditions. Weather will be changing from Thursday onwards with stronger winds and bigger swells meaning areas close to Cardiff and Swansea will not be suitable for the activity.
