Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Brecon Beacons Conditions Report 01st October 2020 - The next couple of days will be good for gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning in the Brecon Beacons region especially in the Mellte and sychryd rivers and gorges. The conditions are going to change over the weekend and onwards as the rain continues and the rivers start to rise, Rivers will get higher and fuller with the increased amount of rain to levels unsuitable for the gorge activities. Daily river levels must be monitored to assess the levels for activity suitability.
The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

Coasteering Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales predicted weekly report 01st October 2020 - There will be no coasteering for the next few days, there is strong winds and big swells predicted for the next few days making coasteering unsuitable across the region.

Wild Swimming Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, South Wales 01st October 2020 - Quite turbulent conditions for the next few days, strong winds and large swells will affect the sea conditions especially and also the rivers with levels rising rapidly. Sheltered areas will be better conditions but winds will predict the better areas as well as the tides. With big swells and stormy seas especially inshore through out the local area conditions are not looking the best. The better areas will definately be inland at protected lakes, quarry sites etc. Overall bad conditions especially on the days with high winds and big swells, very poor visibility across all regions in South wales.

SEA STATE and SWELL - Very stormy seas this week with very strong winds and blustery conditions. The next few days will see the stomier conditions with gale force winds predicted.
