Its only  two weeks until I'm finally able to return to Wales for Christmas and hopefully, between revising for exams, get some time back on the gorge and in the sea. I can't wait to get back in the water and even though its nearly December, the water is just the same as it always is up at the gorge, although hopefully it will rain so when I go back it will be flowing nicely. We really do have the best job in the world considering our 'office' is the rivers and sea.

Canyoning in South Wales is an experience like no other. Just getting in the river and playing around is amazing. Even if you live quite a distance from Cardiff its worth coming to just spend a weekend in South Wales and do its activities. A weekend in Cardiff allows you to all the activities south wales has to offer as it is close to all our sites. Cardiff is 45 minutes away from our Canyoning site in the Brecon beacons.

It is 30 minutes from out Coasteering site at Ogmore-By-Sea, which is next to Porthcawl which is where we teach surfing and kayaking. Not to mention the night life in Cardiff is renowned for being good so the whole weekend will be entertaining, both in the day and night. It is the perfect place to unwind over Christmas and try something new.

Our new season starts soon so we are waiting for all the groups to get started including the Stag parties in Cardiff, Youth Groups, Hen Parties, Military Groups and corporates. It may be cold and the ice is starting to form, but no better time to get into the mountains they are amazing this time of year
