Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales:      Looking good in the mountains for all Gorge Walking and Canyoning activities especially in the Mellte and Sychryd regions. The rain fall has dropped but the ground is still saturated from the winter rains, this means the waterfalls and the rivers are in full constant flow with the water draining into the rivers from the land. There is also sparodic rain which is topping up the river levels to the perfect levels for the Gorge Scrambling, Gorge Walking and Canyoning events over the next few days.

Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales    Coasteering again is looking very sceptical with the swell still large around the South Wales area near Cardiff and Swansea, there is a possible break in the swell a week on Monday but thats a very long range forecast, we'll know more next week. The winds are still high and very cold so in all not good for the coasteering event over the next few days.

Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Activities and Paddle Boarding   Surfing as is becoming regular at the moment is looking good this week, the swell is big and consistent throughout the South Wales region with all beaches in the area getting waves, especially Rest Bay in Porthcawl, Aberavon beaches and all Swansea based beaches. The winds will be variable so need to check the wind direction to pick the best beaches to surf.

Activities and Events in Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales  Last week we ran an extensive programme updated our skills and instructional and safety procedures working in the rivers of the Sychryd and the Mellte in Glyn Neath. The team of instructors were training to make sure there skills were up to date and on point for the up coming season. Activities such as Canyoning and Gorge Walking are of a high risk nature and held in remote areas therefore guide and instructor competency is key to making sure the users of the events are as safe as possible whilst gaining the best enjoyment.  Groups are now booking thick and fast for the adventures through out the year including Stag Parties, Hen Parties and youth groups, all looking to join in on the fun and adventure in the wild lands of South Wales.
