Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling, Canyoning, Ghyll Scrambling near Cardiff, Swansea and South Wales:  Again the conditions are perfect. The rainfall over the last few days in fact weeks has been constant and the water flow is perfect for Gorge Walking and Canyoning in the Mellte and the Sychryd Rivers in the Brecon Beacons. The waterfalls are in full flow, recently there has been tree fall on the Mellte River with debris in the waterfalls this could make the event hazardous if precautions are not taken. The rule as always is to be guided by a professional and licensed company operating in the area.

Coasteering near Cardiff, Swansea in South Wales - The coasteering conditions are varied throughout the week, the weekend is looking good for all Coasteering activities across the region of South Wales especially Caswell Bay in Swansea, Muslade Bay in Swansea and Ogmore by Sea. The tides are crucial to follow as the event must be conducted on the high tide region and the facts of Neap and Spring Tides must also be taken into consideration especially in Ogmore By Sea. Later in the week the wind and the swell are picking up and this will affect the event considerably, so as it looks the weekend looks the best option at the moment.

Surfing and Surf Kayaking -There has been consistent surf throughout the week but hindered by high winds across the area. The wind is dropping this week but the conditions and dropping with the swell especially over the weekend. Next week looks better with a good 2-3 foot wave on the wave buoys predicted. The water temperature is still warm at 15 degrees but will continue to drop over the next few weeks especially with the shorter Autumn nights so make sure you get the right wetsuit and equipment for the up coming winter season.

Events and Activities - Two weeks ago we held Canyoning on the Mellte river with Andy and the boys from London on there Stag weekend in Cardiff, this week a group of the lads are back with us for the same event. They enjoyed the activity so much they had to come back to us. We will also be Coasteering with Barry and the lads from Swindon on there Stag weekend activity in South Wales, hopefully if the surf picks up they will also be surfing or paddle borading with us on Sunday.
