Gorge Walking, Gorge Scrambling & Canyoning Outdoor Activities

Gorge Walking and Canyoning are looking really good for this weekend. The river levels are just where we want them for a challenging but fun activity. Be aware of the rainfall in the Brecon Beacons,  as the ground is already saturated, so prolonged or heavy rainfall will add to the current river levels. The current levels and ground water mean the waterfalls should be running consistently so all of our activities should be running.

It's still early in the year and temperatures here in South Wales are fairly low, so you'll need good thermal protection for any outdoor activity, not just whilst in the water but before and afterwards. The rivers are an ever changing environment but with recent high winds in the South Wales area you need to be extra careful for tree debris that may have ended up in the rivers. As with all our activities, be safe and have fun!

GORGE WALKING ACTIVITIES UPDATE 06.03.2017

Be aware the land around the gorge area is saturated from the consistent rainfall in the area, there has been a heavy flow of water over the last few weeks and debris has been entering into the water, there was a full rescue on Sunday from the falls on the Mellte river, so caution must be taken at all times.

Coasteering Activities In Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales

Not this weekend! The swell on Saturday is fairly big, around 5ft. The swell on Sunday is HUGE, possibly hitting 11ft at times. Add some strong winds, gusting over 40 knots at times, the South Wales coast is not the place you want to be this weekend.

If you really want to get out, you've got two options. Either come and join us in the Brecons for some Gorge Walking and Canyoning or get the surfboard out and put those massive waves to good use.

COASTEERING IN SOUTH WALES UPDATE 06.03.2017

The wind has dropped but the swell is huge so no go for coasteering at the moment, watch the updates for more information.

Surfing, Surf Kayaking, Beach Days and Paddle Boarding

As we mentioned in the Coasteering section, we've got some massive surf due along the South Wales coast this weekend. The main problem is going to be the strong Southerlies and Westerlies but pick the right spot and you should be in for some good fun.

Caswell Bay & Langland in Swansea or Coney and the point in Porthcawl should all be looking good. Those of you in Cardiff, you'll probably be best off hitting the sheltered beaches in Porthcawl for this weekend.

The best outdoor activities near Cardiff in South Wales would be surfing, Gorge Walking and Canyoning as long as the rainfall does not get any heavier over the next few days.

Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Stag & Outdoor Activities

Well the season has well and truly kicked off now! We've got Stag Do’s and Hen Parties from all over South Wales, including Cardiff, Swansea and Porthcawl joining us for some action packed outdoor activities across both days this weekend. We're also welcoming Youth Groups and Scout Troops, Birthday parties and companies looking for that something different and the thrill of some outdoor adventure.

Hopefully we'll get a bit of time to hit the beaches with our surfboards this weekend too with the epic swell we're expecting. If you're looking for something a little bit different for the Stag Do and Hen Party you're organising, a Scout Camp, Birthday Party or just simply getting away from it all then give us a call today and we'll be happy to discuss the various options.
