Its been a dry period again this week after the previous storms, rivers are low but flowing due to saturated land. Waterfalls are flowing and all levels are good for Gorge walking, gorge scrambling and canyoning. Looking good through out the week with low levels of rain. All rivers in the local area including the Sychryd and the Mellte rivers are perfect for gorge activities.

SEA STATE AND SWELL – Wind direction is mainly west and south this week so will be travelling up the channel. Strong winds will affect the sea state to rough conditions especially on Saturday with big swells and big winds. Not looking good for coasteering this week in South Wales, big swells and high winds causing rough sea states and choppy conditions. Need also to look at tides and swells through the region, probably best to head towards West Wales for better conditions

Could be epic surf conditions with the lighter winds on Sunday, swells up to 12 foot and the winds are light, more varied through the week with higher onshore winds. Protected areas could be good on sheltered beaches on Saturday.

Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Group Outdoor Activities

Josh and the boys are heading to us from London to take part in Canyoning in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The rivers are running perfectly, they were initially booked in for coasteering but conditions are not suitable. Instructional guides will be Lee, Dyfed and Stewart.
