Very unsettled and stormy conditions over the next few days will mean gorge scrambling, gorge walking and Canyoning sites will have to be monitored very closely. Predicted no canyoning tomorrow but possible Gorge walking and gorge scrambling on the sychryd river on the lower levels if the rain eases off. Caution should be taken for debris in the rivers and the changing typography with heavy running rivers and loose rocks, tree’s etc. Real caution should be taken in the rivers over the next few days

Huge swell and huge winds make the surf conditions very un predictable, there is definately surf but need to head to Protected beaches along the South Wales coastline preferably facing West first and then East due to the changing wind conditions, could be epic on Saturday

Cardiff, Swansea & South Wales Group Outdoor Activities

Steve and the lads are with us on the weekend, originally booked for Canyoning they will now be on the lower levels in the swift water gorge due to the heavy rainfall and storm conditions. Dyfed and Stewart will be the instructional guides for the event.
